ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL RESOURCES

For various ascendants the significant contribution for financial resources is made by those houses: (1) which contain a mooltrikona sign and their lords are strong, or (2) which are closely influenced by the strong functional benefic planets. The planets create their impact through their own level of affluence. Affluent results are given by the royal planets, the Sun and the Moon, and the Sun-like planets in a nativity. The lords of the second, fifth and tenth houses bring status to the person through one’s academic brilliance or professional competence when the lords of these houses are strong. A strong Mars or Saturn with a strong third house blesses the person with entrepreneurial capabilities and the person becomes an industrialist. A strong Sun and Jupiter influencing the houses of status and profession may take the person to bureaucracy or the judiciary. A strong Sun and Mars may take the person towards medical studies or the armed forces. The impact of Venus and the Moon takes one to the healing or hospitality industry.

A strong Saturn makes a person industrious and can involve him/her in the manufacturing industry. The strong third and second houses with a strong Sun brings success in leadership and politics. A strong sixth house enables the person in fighting for a cause, protecting his/her own interests and brings success. The strongly placed yet afflicted planets bring success in the first place and indicate setbacks later. This is so especially during the sub periods of the afflicted fairly strong planets which generate success with delay. The weak planets bring routine results with a lot of delay and setbacks during transit afflictions.

There are many dimensions to analysis of planetary influences. People fail in their business and industrial endeavors due to the weakness of planets impelling their entrepreneurial ventures. Afflictions to weak planets cause business losses. Some people come for astrological help after they have faced the problems while some come in advance to know about the success of their planned business ventures. The analysis of planetary influences is taken up in their horoscopes and if the houses ruling losses, obstructions, disputes and financial difficulties cause influences in their birth charts then they are advised not to go ahead with their business ventures.

This is especially relevant in cases where people want to make speculative investments. Such people have to be cautioned as per the planetary influences in their birth charts in view of the high volatility of stock markets which are dependent upon so many national and international sentiments besides the government policies and the selfish profitable motives of the stock owners. Then there are dream retirement plans sellers who are trying to allure people in the name of the investment plans. These investment retirement plans have a fixed annual charge for administering the plans while the returns for the investor are generally not secured and are exposed to speculative risks. People with a weak Mercury and the fifth house come into the clutches of such persons. The fundamental concept of early retirement plan itself is a fallacy. The expenses continue throughout life and only a small percentage consisting of a few very rich can afford the retirement plans. The people should invest their savings in plans with secured returns as investment in financial markets are always vulnerable to sudden setbacks. The strengthening of weak planets and houses becomes pertinent to protect one's scarce and hard earned money.

CHART 1

The placement of the lord of the ascendant in the second house indicates good status to the person in government. The lord of the ascendant is weak and afflicted which caused usual challenges of working with the government from time to time. But the status continued due to the strong influences of Mars and Jupiter.

The lord of the seventh house also closely influences the most effective point of the second house and contributes to the family wealth. The wife of the native is also a medical doctor and had been working with a government medical college.

The strong Jupiter blessed the native with two sons. The native's job brought him rich financial resources, properties and investments. Venus ruling the house of business enterprises is under the exact influence of the most malefic planet, Moon.
